Job summary

The Air Force Test Center at Edwards Air Force Base seeks a Full-Time General Engineer - F-22 Combined Test Force Subject Matter Expert to serve as the national and international expert on avionics and armament integration within the 775 TS/ENVX. You will review test plans, provide guidance on airframe, powerplant, and avionics, and participate in safety reviews.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a recognized 412 TW technical expert on flight sciences, mission systems, or electronic warfare test and evaluation.
• Advise diverse engineering teams in planning, implementing, and executing test and evaluation of Air Force systems.
• Assist the chief engineer in directing test philosophy, testing policy, and instructions to ensure safety and credibility.
• Provide expert engineering work to support acquisition and testing of Air Force systems.
• Collaborate across 412 TW, AFTC, AFMC, OSW, and government contractors.
• Provide expert technical review and reporting of test results.
