Sierra Space is seeking a Senior Flight Software Engineer to design, architect, and develop critical embedded flight software for space missions. You will lead a team, enforce coding standards, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure systems meet demanding performance requirements.

Responsibilities include debugging, architecture leadership, and driving continuous improvement using Agile practices. Strong experience with RTOS, VxWorks, and ARINC 653 is preferred, with mentoring

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field or experience.
• Typically 8+ years of related experience.
• Deep expertise in multiple programming languages and software principles.
• Proven ability to design, architect, and implement complex software systems.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
• Strong leadership to guide a team of engineers.
• Ability to make high-level design decisions impacting cost, schedule, and performance.
