Job summary

Sapsol Technologies Inc is seeking an experienced Flight Control System Validation & Verification Engineer to lead and execute system-level verification and validation activities for the FCS on the BWB Demonstrator. The role ensures integrated hardware, software, avionics, sensors, and interfaces meet functional, performance, safety, and certification requirements.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in flight control system or avionics validation & verification.
• Strong experience with system-level V&V of safety-critical aerospace systems.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, scripting languages, and test automation frameworks.
• Experience with model-based verification and simulation-driven test environments.
• Ability to operate in an highly integrated, fast-moving development program.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute system-level V&V strategies for the Flight Control System across the full development lifecycle.
• Own and maintain FCS verification plans, procedures, and matrices, ensuring alignment with milestones and certification objectives.
• Perform requirements-based and function-based verification, including traceability and closure of verification objectives.
• Verify FCS functional performance, mode logic, redundancy management, and fault handling.
• Execute verification in MIL, SIL, and HIL environments focusing on integrated system behavior.
• Coordinate interface verification between FCS and avionics, sensors, actuators, propulsion, and vehicle systems.
• Support safety assessments by providing verification evidence and substantiation.
• Identify verification risks and lead investigation and closure activities.
• Prepare and deliver verification reports and certification data packages.
• Contribute to V&V process improvements for advanced aircraft systems.
