SAPSOL Technologies Inc. is seeking a senior Flight Control Laws engineer to lead development of CLaws for FBW aircraft, leveraging MATLAB/Simulink and C++ to create robust control algorithms.

The role emphasizes V&V, DO-178B compliance, and collaboration with R&D teams to deliver flight control solutions that meet handling qualities and performance requirements. A strong aerospace dynamics background and bilingual English/French are valued.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering; PhD preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Flight Control Laws for FBW aircraft.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft flight dynamics and aerodynamics.
• Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink and C++.
• Familiar with DO-178B, SAE ARP4754 and aerospace software certification standards.
• Fluent in French and English.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and improve CLaws design and assessment tools using MATLAB and C++.
• Support CLaws, autopilot, and navigation design development for R&D projects.
• Develop CLaws and systems requirements.
• Perform CLaws validation and verification for updates and new designs.
• Verify and deliver CLaws in accordance with DO-178B standard and SAE ARP 4754.
• Design and develop pilot-in-the-loop CLaws based on handling quality requirements and flight envelopes.
• Evaluate CLaws and FBW system performance using simulations and flight test data.
• Support integration of CLAWS into test rigs and supplier hardware.
