Job summary

DMR Technologies in Lafayette, LA is seeking an experienced Flight Control Firmware Engineer to own and advance our embedded software powering drone flight controllers.

You will work on a mature production codebase, develop for STM32-based systems, integrate sensor fusion and navigation features, and collaborate with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams to deliver reliable, high-performance unmanned aircraft.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of embedded firmware experience.
• Experience with drone or aerospace flight control systems.
• Strong C/C++ development skills.
• STM32, RTOS, or bare-metal experience.
• Sensor fusion, IMU, GNSS/RTK, CAN, UART, SPI, I2C experience.
• Comfortable taking ownership of complex embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve flight controller firmware.
