Job summary

FedEx is seeking a qualified maintenance technician to service the FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and document work in FedEx computer systems.

You will guide technicians, ensure OSHA and DOT standards, manage inventory, and support safety and compliance while working with a modern, busy fleet environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED; vocational automotive training preferred; ASE Master certification preferred.
• Four years fleet/ automotive/ truck repair experience; welding and basic DC electrical troubleshooting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely maintenance and repair for FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment, with proper documentation.
• Maintain inventory using FedEx computer systems and ensure OSHA/DOT compliance.
• Guide and support technicians and trainees; perform other duties as assigned.
