Job summary

Coke Florida is seeking a Lead Fleet Technician in Jacksonville. The role leads the fleet maintenance team, balances technical expertise with operational leadership, and drives quality and succession development.

Working 4:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, you will develop the next generation of fleet leaders while ensuring reliable repairs. The position demands extensive fleet maintenance experience, advanced diagnostics, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of fleet maintenance experience, including advanced diagnostics.
• Expertise in multi-system troubleshooting (electrical, powertrain hydraulics).
• Proven experience as a team leader with proactive coaching and conflict resolution.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and fleet operations within logistics.
• Experience managing work queues, schedules and service levels.
• Ace certification or training in PIT, engine and OEM systems is preferred.
• Proven ability to improve workflow efficiency and organize complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the final escalation point for fleet technical problems.
• Validate diagnostics and repair plans for complex issues.
• Ensure repair quality and fleet reliability across operations.
• Train and mentor Apprentices and Fleet Technicians.
• Coordinate daily shop activities and monitor service levels.
• Support scheduling and monitor repair backlog and efficiency.
• Conduct repair audits and develop future technical leads.
• Communicate status updates clearly to stakeholders.
