Job summary

Ben E. Keith seeks a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to service and repair tractors, trailers, forklifts, and related equipment at Dallas-area locations. You will perform routine PMs, document work orders, and coordinate with the Fleet Manager to keep assets safe and ready for delivery.

The role requires diesel knowledge, ASE/CDL certifications where possible, and solid English communication. You will use fleet software and dash cameras as part of daily operations, with a focus on safety

Qualifications

Must be mechanically and technically inclined with automotive maintenance experience.
Experience in diesel applications is preferred and ASE/CDL certifications are valued.
Ability to learn and use relevant internal computer applications and fleet software.
Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, and related fleet equipment.
Provide on-site maintenance for branches without fleet shops.
Plan and execute monthly preventive maintenance (PM).
Document work orders, manage inventory, and communicate progress to Fleet Manager.
Operate equipment safely and in compliance with company policy.
Support operational demands with timely maintenance and repairs.
Use dash cameras and AI tools to enhance driver safety and performance.
Attend required meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
