Job summary
Polynesian Adventure Tours, LLC is seeking a Senior Mechanic in Honolulu, HI to mentor junior technicians and troubleshoot complex issues across the fleet of motorcoaches. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems, engines, transmissions, and HVAC with OEM tools.
You will read schematics, follow safety procedures, and collaborate with leadership to plan future repairs and ensure service quality. A strong foundation in heavy equipment maintenance is required.
Qualifications
- Must have Journeyman level expertise.
- Experience mentoring junior technicians in a fast-paced fleet shop.
- Ability to read schematics and service manuals.
- Strong safety mindset and adherence to procedures.
Responsibilities
- Mentor junior technicians and lead by example.
- Troubleshoot complex issues in fleet vehicles.
- Operate vehicle systems testers and diagnostic equipment.
- Repair and service heavy equipment and vehicle components.
- Read schematics and service manuals to diagnose problems.
- Coordinate with supervisor on repair priorities.
