Job summary

Senske is seeking a dependable Mechanic to keep our lawn care and pest control fleet running safely and efficiently in Kennewick, WA. You will service service trucks, small engines, and hydraulic systems while maintaining logs and ensuring safety.

The role requires 5+ years of mechanic experience, strong diagnostic ability, and a valid driver's license. Expect competitive hourly pay with opportunities for overtime and career growth within a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional mechanical experience
• Experience with engine repair, small-engine repair, pumps, and PTO systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems
• Pass pre-employment background screening and drug test (THC excluded)
• Valid driver's license and safe driving history
• Must be 21 years or older to drive a company vehicle
• Able to follow procedures and read instructions/blueprints

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble machines or mechanical components
• Inspect machines, engines, transmissions, etc., and run diagnostic tests
• Conduct repairs for maximum reliability
• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them promptly
• Perform maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems
• Clean and lubricate machinery components
• Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery
• Provide consultation on maintenance and preventative measures
• Maintain logs of work and report issues
• Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Maintain a neat, safe work environment
• Assist team as needed
