Keurig Dr Pepper seeks a Fleet Mechanic III for Petaluma, CA. You will perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections, service light and heavy vehicles, and use Cummins/Navistar diagnostic tools to troubleshoot engines and electrical systems.

You will also handle documentation, parts inventory, and mentor junior mechanics, while supporting a fast-paced, hands-on workshop environment with overtime potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1 year or more of mechanic experience on a fleet
• Must be able to work on all types of vehicles (diesel trucks, electric and propane forklift, etc...)
• Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
• Able to supply your own set of tools to perform the job
• Willing and able to acquire the necessary certifications and licenses needed for the position within the first year of employment to include: ASE Heavy and Medium duty certification, CDL A, DOT brake and annual inspection certification, and A/C certification

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, perform DOT inspections (3 years’ experience) and necessary repairs to automobiles, trucks (light and heavy, trailers, vans and forklifts)
• Able to use Cummins, Navistar etc. diagnostic software
• Disassembles and overhauls motors, transmissions, clutches, rear ends and electrical systems
• Complete all necessary documents, including vehicle records
• Manage ordering and inventory of parts
• Will act as a mentor to the class I & II mechanics
