Job summary

State of Oklahoma is seeking a Fleet Specialist V to lead the Consolidated Vehicle Fleet at Red Rock Correctional Center. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical issues, and oversee repair operations.

You will manage budgets, staff actions, and ensure safety and compliance for a broad state fleet. Qualified candidates have six years of automotive or related experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to coordinate parts, schedules, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Six years of automobile/truck/heavy equipment maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools and vehicle systems software.
• Ability to supervise, plan budgets, and manage fleet operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform major and minor preventive maintenance on state vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic issues; operate diagnostic tools.
• Supervise repair facility operations and train staff as directed.
• Coordinate parts orders, paperwork, and fleet planning activities.
