Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to provide timely, quality maintenance for the FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, and documentation.

The role also involves documenting work and maintaining inventory in FedEx systems, ensuring OSHA/DOT compliance, and guiding technicians and trainees. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; vocational automotive training preferred; ASE Master certification preferred.
Four years of fleet, automotive, or truck vehicle advanced repair and maintenance experience.
Welding experience and basic DC electrical troubleshooting preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications on FedEx fleet and ground support equipment.
Document work performed and maintain adequate inventory using FedEx computer systems; ensure accuracy of records.
Ensure all work complies with OSHA and DOT standards; guide and support technicians and trainees.
Perform other duties as assigned.
