A leading recruiting firm is seeking a Production Manager to oversee operations at a food manufacturing plant in Northbrook, Illinois. The successful candidate will manage production processes to achieve quality and safety standards, lead employee development, and participate in budget preparations. This role requires a BS in a relevant field and at least 7 years of experience in food manufacturing management. This position offers a competitive salary of up to $130k annually.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years Food manufacturing/plant management experience.
• Understanding of FDA, OSHA, EPA regulations.
• Knowledge of food ingredient processing and previous experience with ERP system implementation is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Manage production activities to exceed customer satisfaction goals.
• Ensure employee safety and compliance with product quality policies.
• Develop and follow Standard Operating Procedures in production and sanitation.
• Lead employee development and address personnel issues.
• Participate in production budget preparation and manage manufacturing costs.
• Support HACCP and food safety initiatives.
