Columbia Threadneedle Investments in Boston/New York/Minneapolis seeks a senior fixed income manager research specialist to lead due diligence and oversight of investment managers across global open architecture platforms. You will influence portfolio and governance decisions and represent CTI with institutional clients, consultants and investment firms.

Qualifications

Minimum 5–7 years of manager research experience in fixed income.
Deep knowledge of fixed income including rates, credit, securitized markets, and EM debt.
CFA designation preferred; advanced finance degree preferred.
Strong understanding of investment processes across asset managers.
Proficiency with Bloomberg, Aladdin, eVestment and Morningstar; ability to develop quantitative tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain complex concepts clearly.
Ability to engage senior professionals and influence governance groups.

Responsibilities

Lead fixed income manager research, selection and due diligence across sub-asset classes.
Represent CTI in due diligence discussions with CIOs, PMs, analysts and traders.
Present investment ideas and portfolio reviews to institutional clients.
Support portfolio construction with internal investment teams.
Develop quantitative screening and reporting tools to evaluate strategies.
Prepare governance-ready materials with quality content.
Monitor managers for performance, changes, and market trends.
