Job summary

Columbia Threadneedle Investments seeks a senior fixed income manager research specialist to lead due diligence and manage research across open-architecture platforms. You will engage with chief investment officers, portfolio managers, analysts, and consultants to shape investment guidelines and decisions.

You will develop quantitative tools, support portfolio construction, and present governance-ready materials while collaborating with internal teams and external clients to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of manager research experience in fixed income.
• Deep knowledge of rates, credit, securitized markets, EM debt.
• Familiarity with US and European fund requirements.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg, Aladdin, eVestment or Morningstar for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead fixed income manager research and due diligence across sub-asset classes.
• Represent Columbia Threadneedle Investments in detailed discussions with CIOs, PMs and analysts.
• Deliver evidence-based manager recommendations including hire/retain/terminate decisions.
• Present investment ideas and portfolio reviews to institutional clients.
• Support portfolio construction with internal teams and analyze duration, yield curve and risk.
• Develop and enhance quantitative screening, reporting and analytical tools.
• Prepare governance materials and ensure content quality from internal and external sources.
• Monitor portfolios and external managers for performance changes and market trends.
