Job summary

Verithium is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design and code the next generation of its fixed income trading platform. You will work with a team of engineers focused on applying best practices, ideas, and technology.

This is a Right-to-Hire consulting role with expected conversion to a permanent employee within the first year.

Qualifications

• Senior IT developer/architect with 10+ years in Java/J2EE enterprise apps.
• At least 4 years in the Fixed Income industry.
• Strong knowledge of fixed income securities, trading or processing.
• Skilled in data modeling for performance and data analysis using SQL.
• Experience with financial reporting on asset allocation and risk analysis.
• Hands-on tech leader capable of leading the team as a technical resource.
• Experience liaising between business and technology.

• Skilled in physical and logical data modeling techniques for optimal performance and data analysis using SQL
• Deeply familiar with financial reporting on asset allocation, equities, bond holdings, portfolio performance, fixed income and risk analysis.
• Must be a hands on tech leader, who can lead the team and be an expert technical resource.
• Experienced working as the liaison between business and technology.
