Job summary

FHLB Des Moines seeks a Treasury professional to execute daily borrowing, investing or hedging activities under supervision. The role focuses on enhancing financial performance through actionable relative value trades within asset/liability objectives and regulatory compliance.

You will analyze market events, support the Trading Desk, and liaise with other departments to improve processes and partnerships. A strong background in finance and 5+ years in investments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, statistics, or related field required.
• Advanced degree (MBA/CFA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing daily borrowing, investing or hedging activities.
• Enhance financial performance by recommending and executing relative value transactions.
• Develop and maintain market analysis related to capital market activities.
• Coordinate with Treasury and other departments to strengthen partnerships.
