Job summary

SoFi is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the FIU Investigations team, shaping the design and execution of AML monitoring and wallet screening for fiat and digital assets. You will guide investigations, oversee quality reviews, and drive coaching across the team to ensure rigorous analysis and accurate dispositions.

The role requires deep knowledge of crypto-asset AML typologies, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ongoing enhancement of monitoring programs to mitigate evolving threats

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four‑year college or university.
• 6+ years of AML and Fraud Compliance Investigations, with at least 2 years in management.
• Minimum 3 years in cryptocurrency‑related AML transaction monitoring.
• Strong ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to lead a team of AML investigators with training and mentoring.
• Solid knowledge of BSA/AML laws relating to virtual assets.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of FIU Investigators evaluating AML and Fraud alerts and cases involving digital assets.
• Provide oversight for complex digital-asset investigations including on-chain flows and wallets.
• Conduct and oversee token reviews and ensure high-quality dispositions.
• Coach FIU Investigators to improve investigative quality and productivity.
• Assist with design and enhancement of digital-asset monitoring and wallet-screening programs.
• Identify emerging digital-asset risks and translate findings into process improvements.
• Collaborate with AML, Sanctions, Fraud, Compliance, Legal, Product and Engineering on investigations and risk.
