Job summary

SoFi is seeking a Senior Manager to lead FIU Investigators in AML and Fraud investigations spanning fiat and digital assets. You will oversee on‑chain analysis, wallet activity, and complex cases, delivering coaching and quality reviews to your team.

You will contribute to the design of digital‑asset monitoring programs and stay ahead of evolving typologies across crypto and traditional banking. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four‑year college or university.
• 6+ years of experience in AML and Fraud Compliance Investigations, with at least 2 years of direct management experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in cryptocurrency‑related AML transaction monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of FIU Investigators responsible for evaluating AML and Fraud alerts and cases involving crypto assets.
• Provide oversight for digital‑asset investigations, including on‑chain flows, wallets, exchanges, bridges, DeFi activity.
• Conduct and oversee token reviews and ensure rigorous analysis and thorough dispositions.
• Coach FIU Investigators to drive investigative quality and identify training needs and process improvements.
• Assist with design and enhancement of digital‑asset transaction monitoring and wallet screening programs.
• Maintain knowledge of AML and Fraud typologies across retail banking, brokerage, and digital assets.
• Identify emerging digital‑asset risks and translate findings into monitoring and control enhancements.
• Collaborate with AML, Sanctions, Fraud, Compliance, Legal, Product, and Engineering on investigations and risk.
