Job summary

HDR is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Fisheries to join our Pacific Northwest practice in Washington State. The role involves leading multi-discipline teams on complex water-resource projects, driving technical excellence and client engagement, and mentoring staff across projects.

The successful candidate will manage project delivery from planning to close-out, oversee budgets, pursue new client opportunities, and coordinate with regional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years related experience.
• At least 5 years of project management experience.
• Professional engineering license recognized by the local licensing board.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle.
• Responsible for all aspects of large multidiscipline projects with high technical complexity.
• Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently.
• Establish and maintain client relations, and participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
• Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with staff and stakeholders.
• Coordinate staffing and workload across the project life cycle and ensure on-schedule deliverables.
• Track financial aspects and ensure adherence to budgets and schedules.
• Collaborate with leadership for periodic project reviews and QA/QC procedures.
• Mentor large project staffs and guide less-experienced project managers.
• Perform other duties as needed.
