Lynker is seeking a dynamic Senior Fisheries Biologist to support the NMFS West Coast Region in evaluating Hatchery and Genetic Management Plans. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of relevant experience, along with strong communication skills and proficiency in preparing NEPA analytical documents. Qualifications
Minimum of three years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of fishery laws such as Magnuson-Stevens Act, NEPA, MMPA.
Experience conducting technical analyses for anadromous salmonids.
Responsibilities
Conduct ESA effects analyses for harvest and hatchery management frameworks.
Prepare NEPA documents.
Evaluate alternative fishery management strategies.
Coordinate with NMFS staff and general counsel.
Skills
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of fisheries management frameworks in the Pacific Northwest Region
Experience preparing NEPA analytical documents
