As the department's top fiscal resource, you will guide offices, manage fiscal operations, and help develop practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Advanced education, training, and/or experience in cost/benefit and financial analysis.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate with leaders, staff, and external partners.
• Preference for Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Advise leadership on budgets, financial trends, funding constraints, fiscal risks and impacts.
• Apply GAAP, GAS, state policy, and federal requirements to accounting and reporting.
• Lead budget and financial analyses including revisions, forecasting, variance analysis, and fiscal impact reviews.
• Provide guidance on complex accounting, budgeting, grants, and financial issues.
• Ensure continuity of financial operations in absence of personnel.
• Coordinate across offices to resolve fiscal issues and improve processes.
• Review vendor payments, reconciliations, revenue recognition, and asset accounting for accuracy and compliance.
• Track program results and provide financial analyses to leadership.
