Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an experienced Litigation Partner in Milwaukee, WI to lead high-stakes tort and complex litigation matters. The ideal candidate has over ten years of first-chair trial experience and a strong track record of developing and managing cases from investigation through verdict.

In a collaborative, supportive environment, you will mentor associates and collaborate across groups, travel as needed, and provide strategic counsel to clients while meeting billable targets.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing in Wisconsin or Illinois state and federal courts.
• Minimum of ten years of tort and complex litigation experience, including proven first-chair trial work.
• Strong legal writing, organization, and case management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as first-chair trial counsel in complex litigation matters.
• Lead strategy, case management, and litigation from investigation through resolution.
• Work extensively with expert witnesses in preparing cases for trial.
• Handle depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Supervise and mentor associate attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on multi-disciplinary matters.
• Travel as needed for client meetings, depositions, and trials.
• Provide proactive and strategic legal counsel to clients.
