Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks an experienced firmware verification engineer to design and implement verification environments for complex HDL designs. You will build SystemVerilog/UVM-based testbenches, create verification strategies, and author test plans and coverage.

The role requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience and eligibility for a DoD security clearance. Onsite work in the US with potential for collaboration across teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in Universal Verification Methodology (UVM)
• Experience in both System-Verilog and VHDL languages
• Successfully completed verification of several designs for various devices and applications
• Experience in verified communication interfaces and bus standards (e.g., AXI, SPI, I2C, PCIe, UART, or Gb Ethernet)
• Experience in tested and verified designs using logic analyzers, high-speed oscilloscopes, signal generators, and/or target device debugging tools

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with FPGA design implementation using VHDL design language
• Experience with Universal Verification Methodology Framework (UVMF)
• Performed Formal Verification
• Created scripts in TCL, Perl, or Python for use in a Linux environment
• Used GIT, SVN, or ClearCase for source control
• Participated as a member of teams that use AGILE development

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
