Job summary

Graphcore in Austin is seeking a Senior Firmware Validation Engineer to support validation and quality assurance for firmware components across their ARM-based server platforms. This role includes defining validation strategy, developing automated testing frameworks, and validating platform security features.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields, with over 6 years of experience in firmware validation, particularly for server systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in firmware or platform validation for server or data center systems.
• Experience validating ARM server firmware stacks including UEFI/EDK II and OpenBMC platforms.
• Hands-on experience with EDK II/UEFI validation and OpenBMC system testing.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute validation strategy for rack-level firmware stacks across ARM server platforms.
• Develop validation plans and automated test frameworks for platform bring-up.
• Drive validation of platform security features including Root of Trust and secure boot.
