Job summary

Ampere Computing is seeking a Sr. Principal System Firmware Authentication Engineer to lead the architecture, development, and validation of secure system firmware for ARM-based server platforms.

You will drive firmware authentication, secure boot, and certificate management while collaborating with hardware, firmware, security, and validation teams throughout the product lifecycle. You will establish scalable processes for keys, signing, and attestation, bring up firmware across platforms, and

Qualifications

12+ years in firmware, embedded software, or platform security.
Extensive experience with 32/64-bit ARM architecture and server boot flows.
Strong expertise in secure boot, firmware authentication, cryptography, and roots of trust.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture and development of secure system firmware for ARM-based servers.
Define scalable certificate, key, signing, and authentication processes.
Bring up and validate firmware across virtual platforms, emulation, and silicon.
Enable secure firmware updates, attestation, and platform recovery.
Execute comprehensive testing strategies across unit to security levels.
Collaborate with hardware, software, validation, ODM, and customer teams.
