Qualifications

• 10+ years in firmware/FPGA or embedded/digital design.
• Experience leading Firmware/FPGA teams.
• Translate high-level requirements into task plans and milestones.
• Strong leadership, coaching, delegation and workload balancing.
• Willingness to obtain DoD clearance.
• Some travel will be required.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop Firmware/FPGA staff and oversee performance.
• Translate requirements into tasks, priorities, schedules, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.
• Monitor execution, balance workload, manage risks, and drive corrective actions.
• Provide clear status to senior leadership regarding schedule, risks, blockers, staffing needs.
• Drive cross‑functional coordination with hardware, software, project engineering, program management, and manufacturing.
