The Space Division – Space Sensing & Security Branch at Leidos, within the space-based product line, is seeking a talented Senior Firmware/FPGA Software Engineer to join a diverse team in San Diego, CA, to develop solutions for complex problems.
Job Overview
This role is part of the Leidos Space Division – Space Sensing & Security engineering team. As a Senior Firmware/FPGA Design Engineer, you will be integral in designing FPGA-based solutions for space-based products. This position offers the chance to impact current and future space sensor projects using your FPGA expertise, designing innovative FPGA solutions across various hardware platforms and FPGAs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, simulate, and integrate FPGA designs and sensor systems.
We aim to advance your FPGA techniques and develop cutting-edge FPGA technologies. You will also work with customer specifications, leveraging your background in FPGA algorithms and MATLAB support for a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. Responsibilities include supporting integration, testing, and verification of final products.
