Job summary

Stelvio Inc. is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to join their Engineering & Test team, taking hands-on ownership of complex firmware across the full embedded lifecycle.

You will design, develop, and test embedded software, drivers, and real-time architectures, integrating with hardware, sensors, displays, and communication protocols.

This role requires strong C/C++, RTOS experience, Python tooling, and a mentoring mindset; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive embedded systems development experience.
• Advanced embedded C/C++ programming skills.
• Experience with RTOS and real-time systems.
• Proven hardware/software integration and debugging experience.
• Hands-on PCB and component testing experience.
• Strong Python skills for test automation and data collection.
• Independent ownership of firmware components from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software and device drivers in C/C++ for production hardware.
• Develop firmware architectures for RTOS-based real-time systems.
• Work with I2C, SPI, UART, USB, and Bluetooth interfaces.
• Perform hardware/software integration and debugging across boards and components.
