Job summary

AIM Intelligent Machines in Seattle is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to design and build firmware for our Generation 2 hardware platform. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in embedded systems, proficient in C++, and comfortable working closely with hardware.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in firmware or embedded systems development.
• Strong experience in C++ for embedded or systems programming environments.
• Experience with hardware interfaces and communication protocols (CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet).

Responsibilities

• Design and build core systems powering AIM’s autonomous machines.
• Develop firmware for Generation 2 hardware platform using C++.
• Optimize timing and memory usage across embedded systems.
