Job summary

Cricut, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to drive rapid development, prototyping, and debugging of our products. You will contribute to product definition and development methodology while leading analog/digital circuit design and motor control for cutting-edge devices.

Responsibilities include defining HW interfaces, PCB design, and EMI/UL/CE compliance. You will collaborate in a fast-paced, cross-functional team to meet ambitious product deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years experience in digital/analog board design.
• Experience with consumer electronics, especially electro-mechanical devices.
• Experience with board-level debugging and bring-up.
• Experience with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve warranty return issues

Job Description

Duties/Activities:

• Design and development of mixed analog & digital circuits for new products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5+ years experience in digital/analog board design
• Experience with consumer electronics, especially electro-mechanical devices
• Experience with board-level debug & bring-up
• Experience with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi systems

Preferred Skills:

• RF Design of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip down designs.
• Familiar with rechargeable battery circuit design and safety
• Proficient in C/C++
• Proficiency at solving problems in a timely manner
• Ability to define critical project criteria to ensure completion
• Ability to draw solutions from both formal training and experience
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Proficient in use of Multi-meter, O-Scope and other troubleshooting devices
