Job summary

Leidos has an opening for a Network Engineer to support a program for FRTIB in Washington, DC. You will oversee LAN/Wi‑Fi, Zscaler services, and zero-trust posture while designing and evaluating network components.

Responsibilities include monitoring, configuring, and upgrading network infrastructure, creating diagrams and docs, and presenting findings to clients. Must have 6+ years in wired/Wi‑Fi, 4+ in Zero Trust, and be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust.

Qualifications

Degrees as stated with 8–12 years (BS) or 6–10 years (MS) of relevant experience.
Minimum 6 years in one or more listed technologies: Ubiquiti, DataDog, Zscaler.
Minimum 4 years configuring and maintaining a Zero Trust environment.
Minimum 6 years configuring, maintaining and operating traditional wired networks.
Minimum 4 years configuring, maintaining and operating Wi‑Fi networks.
Ability to work with diverse teams and communicate complex concepts clearly.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Manage the LAN and Wi‑Fi, including configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Maintain and upgrade network infrastructure and Zscaler clients for security.
Configure ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX services and related policies.
Develop network topology diagrams and documentation.
Attend meetings with the customer and provide weekly project updates.
Provide technical direction to staff and support issues to resolution within SLAs.
