Job summary

RMantra Solutions is seeking a senior cybersecurity engineer for an all-on-site role in Arlington, VA. You will identify and remediate firewall, load balancer, and network security gaps while supporting Tier 3 operations and ongoing COOP readiness.

Primary responsibilities include conducting firewall assessments, maintaining devices at vendor-supported levels, and advising on architecture using Palo Alto technologies. A TS/SCI clearance and CI/Poly eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years hands-on Cisco/Palo Alto Firewall experience in engineering and O&M roles.
• Experience in high-op-temp, TS environment and active DOD Top Secret clearance is required.
• Candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain TS/SCI and CI/Poly.
• Strong knowledge of Panorama installation, HA, templates, policies, and routing.

Responsibilities

• Identify and remediate misconfigurations, conflicting rules, security gaps, firewall and load balancer issues.
• Provide Tier 3 support to operations network administrators.
• Maintain HW and SW components at vendor-supported levels.
• Support Continuity of Operations (COOP).
• Conduct monthly firewall assessments and generate improvement reports.
• Create network device performance and traffic utilization reports.
