Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) is seeking a Firewall Administrator for AEDC in Arnold AFB, TN. You will deploy and manage FortiGate, Forcepoint, and Cisco ASA VPNs to ensure secure, highly available network connectivity and adherence to DoD STIGs.

Open to internal and external candidates. The role may require occasional after-hours work and offers career growth within a trusted government-focused team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years IT experience in lieu of degree.
• L08: 5+ years progressively relevant experience; L09: 8+ years.
• US Citizenship required; ability to obtain DoD clearance.
• Must obtain DoD 8140 certifications within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise firewalls (FortiGate, Forcepoint) and Cisco ASA VPN gateways.
• Configure NGFW policies including application control and IPS.
• Enforce STIGs and DoD policies; maintain security posture.
• Follow strict change management and document SOPs.
• Monitor traffic, analyze logs, and respond to incidents.
• Perform vulnerability patching and network hardening.
