Job summary

Pavion Corp in New York is seeking a talented Project Manager to lead our fire protection and security installations across major sites. You will supervise complex projects, coordinate teams, and ensure safety and compliance from concept through completion.

Responsibilities include scheduling, change orders, cost assessments, permitting, and interfacing with executives to keep projects aligned with strategic objectives. NYC FD code knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience managing large-scale fire/safety construction projects.
• Strong customer service and client liaison skills.
• Knowledge of NYC FD codes and permit processes.
• Valid driver's license and ability to coordinate across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all facets of JFK Terminal 1 & 6 projects.
• Coordinate scheduling, liaison between EC and GC, applicable change orders, and revenue recognition.
• Perform pre-sales or post-award engineering assessments to provide cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare submittals and permitting documents as well as O&M Manuals and As-Builts upon job completion.
• Communicate with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals.
• Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for project progression.
• Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure synergy.
• Provide management and logistical support for multiple ongoing projects.
• Coordinate manpower and subcontractors.
• Coordinate permitting and AHJ inspections.
