Job summary

DLB Associates is seeking a Fire Protection & Plumbing Engineer III for remote work from anywhere in the United States. You will collaborate with senior engineers to develop and lead plumbing and fire protection designs for commercial buildings, producing construction documents and project specs.

You will interact with project management to guide pre-construction activities, respond to RFIs, and ensure quality through reviews of drawings and submittals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or fire protection engineering required.
• PE license in related discipline preferred.
• Experience designing mechanical, fire protection and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Produce construction documents and project specifications under supervision.
• Lead and coordinate fire protection and plumbing design tasks on projects of complex scope.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, punch lists and project closeout documents.
