Job summary

Energy Resilience Partners, LLC is assembling a contingent project team for the Fort Buchanan microgrid in Puerto Rico. Provide professional fire-protection engineering oversight for the BESS enclosure wet-pipe sprinkler and related interfaces; stamp required submittals, perform surveillance, witness testing, and certify compliant installation.

Role blends remote design/submittal review with on-island attendance for rough-in surveillance and final testing; travel to Puerto Rico is required when

Qualifications

• Active Professional Engineer license and passing the NCEES fire protection exam.
• Experience with NFPA 13 sprinkler design, hydraulic calcs, and submittal review.
• Ability to seal documents and travel to Puerto Rico for inspections.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or supervise shop drawings and hydraulic calculations for SD-02/03/05 packages.
• Affix PE stamps to drawings, calcs, data, and certificates.
• Perform rough-in surveillance and coordinate sprinkler, fire alarm, switchgear, BESS, and interfaces.
• Attend pre-Government testing and witness final Government testing; verify deficiencies corrected.
• Support RFIs, field changes, closeout and final installation review.
