Job summary

Jensen Hughes, a leading fire protection engineering firm, seeks an experienced Sr. Consultant in the Northeast USA.

You will manage engineering projects, conduct code reviews, and prepare technical reports and presentations for complex life-safety systems across commercial, institutional, and industrial projects globally. Ideal candidates bring eight+ years in code consulting and fire protection design, with strong writing and communication skills to present strategies to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, preferably Fire Protection.
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience including Code Consulting, Smoke Control Design and Commissioning and Fire Protection System Design.
• Excellent report writing and interpersonal skills; ability to present fire protection strategies to a diverse audience.
• Project management and fire protection engineering experience.
• Experience in code consulting, design of fire suppression and alarm systems, and developing performance-based strategies in a project design environment is strongly desired.
• Registered Fire Protection Engineer strongly desired (New York, New Jersey or New England)
• New York or Massachusetts specific fire and building code experience preferred.
