Cumberland County Emergency Services seeks a strategic Fire Marshal to lead the Fire Marshal’s Division, directing fire prevention, inspections, and investigations countywide. The role provides executive guidance during major incidents and disaster response, coordinating with EOC and multiple agencies.

The position requires NC Fire Inspector Level III, strong policy development, budgeting, and staff supervision, with on-call duties rotating evenings and weekends as scheduled.

Competenze

• Degree in Fire Science, Emergency Services, or related field with 3+ years in fire/emergency services.
• Experience leading fire prevention, inspections, code enforcement, or investigations.
• Knowledge of NC Fire Code and regulatory standards.
