Job summary

Bright Minds in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Fire / Life Safety to lead fire alarm and life safety projects across the Columbus market. This customer-facing role oversees fire alarm systems, electronic security, building automation, and other low-voltage technologies while ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and customer satisfaction.

You will own projects from award to closeout, manage schedules, budgets, procurement, subcontractors, materials, and field execution.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of project management experience in a technical environment.
• Experience managing Fire Alarm & Life Safety, Electronic Security, Building Automation, or other low-voltage system projects.
• Strong financial project management experience, including budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and project profitability.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and relationship management skills.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, procurement, schedules, and project documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from award through closeout.
