Job summary

Evergreen Fire and Security provides life safety and security solutions for government entities and corporations across the United States and abroad. The Senior Fire Design Engineer leads Fire/MNS designs and estimates in line with company standards and contract requirements, consulting with customers, vendors, and management to review project needs and timelines.

The role requires CAD proficiency, NICET III certification or higher, strong communication and collaboration, and willingness to

Qualifications

Excellent communication with customers and teams.
Ability to design fire and MNS systems per applicable codes.
Experience estimating and drafting projects.

Responsibilities

Designs fire, MNS, area of refuge and BDA projects and finalizes cut builds.
Assesses products and applications to meet federal, state, local regulations and specs.
Authors and reviews estimates for projects.
Mentors engineers, technicians, and project managers.
Travels to job sites for surveys and compliance purposes.
Provides status reports to Engineering Manager or Supervisor.
Keeps Project Manager informed of technical solutions and changes.
Assists Business Development with technical presentations.
