Job summary

Ironsmith Fire, LLC is seeking a Lead Fire Alarm Technician in Tennessee to direct installation, programming, inspection, and maintenance of fire alarm systems. Daily travel to customer sites is required, ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.

You will lead and mentor technicians, troubleshoot issues, and assure project quality while maintaining strong customer relations and responsive service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years hands-on fire alarm experience (installation, programming, inspection, service).
• NICET certifications are preferred.
• Must hold or obtain a Fire Alarm License in TN, AR, and MS within the required timeframe.
• Ability to pass state background checks (TBI and FBI).

Responsibilities

• Install, program, inspect, and service fire alarm systems to meet codes and safety requirements.
• Lead and support all phases of fire alarm work, including installation, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Drive system reliability by identifying issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Oversee project execution to meet timelines, scope, and quality expectations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national fire and life safety regulations.
• Provide leadership to technicians and foster skill development.
• Deliver excellent customer service through clear communication and issue resolution.
• Participate hands-on in all aspects of fire alarm work as needed.
• Continuously evaluate processes to improve efficiency and safety.
