Job summary

Ironsmith Fire, LLC is seeking a Lead Fire Alarm Technician to direct the installation, programming, inspection, and maintenance of fire alarm systems across projects. You will oversee field teams, ensure safety, and verify compliance with codes and standards.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of hands-on experience, NICET certifications preferred, and the ability to obtain Fire Alarm Licenses in TN, AR, MS within required timelines. Travel to sites is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience in fire alarm system installation, programming, inspection, and service.
• NICET certifications preferred.
• Must hold or obtain a Fire Alarm License in TN, AR, and MS within the required timeframe.
• Ability to pass state background checks (TBI and FBI).

Responsibilities

• Direct and perform installation, programming, inspection, and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
• Lead and oversee all phases of fire alarm work including installation, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations and industry standards.
• Provide leadership and guidance to technicians.
• Deliver excellent customer service and client satisfaction.
