Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Senior Security & Fire Alarm Technician to lead installation, programming, testing and commissioning of Fire Alarm and Electronic Security Systems on New Construction and Retrofit projects in Greater Orlando and Central Florida. You will read blueprints and riser diagrams, configure CCTV and Access Control, support AHJ inspections, and mentor junior technicians.

A Florida license and 4+ years in the field are required, with NICET being a plus and a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Fire Alarm and/or Electronic Security experience.
• Hands-on experience with CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection.
• Experience with Fire Alarm and Security System Programming.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, and Florida Fire Prevention Code.
• Ability to read Construction Drawings and Riser Diagrams.
• Understanding of IP Networking as it relates to Security Systems.
• Florida FASA/BASA License or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, and commission Fire Alarm and Electronic Security Systems.
• Configure CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection Systems.
• Read Blueprints, Shop Drawings, Riser Diagrams, and Submittals.
• Perform System Testing, Troubleshooting, and Commissioning.
• Support AHJ inspections and final system turnover.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Contractors, and customers.
• Provide technical guidance to junior Technicians and Apprentices.
