Job summary

Credit Sesame is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel reporting directly to the General Counsel to lead transactional work and strategic partnerships in a fast-paced fintech environment. You will architect commercial relationships, draft enterprise agreements, and guide cross-functional teams with a focus on risk mitigation and scalable contracts.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years as a licensed attorney with 7+ years in fintech or financial services.
• Proven track record drafting and negotiating complex, multi-party commercial agreements.
• Deep knowledge of consumer protection, privacy, data security and fintech regulations.

Responsibilities

• Draft, structure, and negotiate high-stakes commercial contracts including enterprise SaaS and partnerships.
• Lead complex transactions as the main legal partner, translating business objectives into robust agreements.
• Ensure regulatory alignment within commercial agreements to support growth.
• Design and maintain playbooks, templates, and clause libraries to accelerate deal flow.
• Advise product, marketing, and business development teams with risk-adjusted guidance.
• Monitor evolving fintech and consumer protection laws to keep agreements compliant.
