Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud infrastructure, SRE, or DevOps with cost optimization focus.
• Hands-on with GCP and AWS; strong pricing models and cost tooling knowledge.
• Deep Kubernetes knowledge for resource allocation and cost attribution.
• Proficient with cloud cost tools and building dashboards and forecasts.
• Experience influencing engineering, product and finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud cost optimization strategy across GCP, AWS, and on-prem.
• Analyze compute, storage, networking, and Kubernetes usage for cost savings.
• Build forecasting models, dashboards, and automated cost reporting.
• Develop tagging standards, budgeting processes, and governance policies.
• Guide workload placement and scaling strategies with engineering and finance.
• Drive FinOps best practices including right-sizing and reservations.
• Create tooling and pipelines for cost monitoring and attribution.
• Train teams and communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
