Job summary

Cemex US is hiring a Finish Mill Maintenance Superintendent who will lead bargaining-unit employees and contractors to maintain plant equipment safely and efficiently. The role emphasizes preventive and corrective maintenance, reliability improvements, outage coordination, and cost control while supporting production goals.

The position requires strong planning, data management, and leadership to uphold Cemex safety standards and environmental compliance across the operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the cement making process or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work extended hours, occasional evenings or weekends or take calls after hours, evenings, weekends or holidays (On Call Weekends)
• Ability to communicate with others written or verbally.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team to ensure safe, continuous operation of plant equipment.
• Plan and execute maintenance work orders and outages.
• Manage maintenance records, budgets, and cost centers.
• Coordinate maintenance with minimal production disruption and ensure quality repairs.
