Job summary

Cemex USA seeks a Superintendent Maintenance I to lead maintenance efforts in the Finish Mill area, ensuring safe, efficient operation of plant equipment. You will plan, execute maintenance, coordinate outages, and drive reliability improvements while supporting production goals and cost control.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a technical field.
3 to 5 years of experience in the cement making process or related experience; or equivalent.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Ability to work extended hours, evenings, weekends or holidays (On Call Weekends).
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise bargaining-unit employees and contractors engaged in maintenance.
Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
Update maintenance data in Work Orders and maintain machine history and technical information.
Manage maintenance budgets and control costs.
Coordinate maintenance work to minimize production downtime and maintain safety standards.
