Job summary

CottageSmith seeks an experienced Residential Finish Superintendent to lead the final stages of our custom residential projects. This is hands-on, field-based work with travel between active sites in North Atlanta and the surrounding metro area.

You will personally perform finish carpentry, install trim, doors, cabinetry, and flooring while coordinating with subcontractors to keep turnover on schedule. The ideal candidate brings at least 3 years of hands-on residential construction, strong

Qualifications

At least 3 years of residential construction, remodeling, or finish carpentry experience.
Strong finish carpentry skills, especially trim and door installation.
Experience assembling and installing residential cabinetry.
Experience installing LVP or similar flooring.
Ability to read residential construction plans and specs.

Responsibilities

Lead the finish phase of CottageSmith residential projects.
Perform hands-on finish carpentry and installation work as needed.
Install interior trim, baseboards, casing, doors, and hardware.
Install luxury vinyl plank flooring and related finishes.
Assemble and install kitchen, bathroom, and storage cabinetry.
Complete punch-lists, touch-ups, and final cleanup.
Travel between active projects in North Atlanta area.
Monitor progress and coordinate with subcontractors to maintain schedule.
Identify unfinished work and coordinate with Construction Managers on priorities.
